From sole proprietorship to limited liability company: a 10-year review

Exactly 10 years ago, my brother Mathias Aeschlimann and I founded our first company, Aeschlimann & Aeschlimann. As an IT service provider, we covered a broad spectrum from the very beginning – from IT support to web development. Our goal was to gain as much experience as possible.

We were soon able to implement our first web and WordPress projects. After the tragic loss of Mathias Aeschlimann, Aeschlimann & Aeschlimann was dissolved, and I founded my own company. The name "Amplus" comes from Latin and means "wide," reflecting our broad range of services. Initially known as Amplus IT-Services, the company was renamed Amplus WP-Praxis in 2020 and specialized in WordPress.

Now, 10 years after the start, I, Jonas Aeschlimann, am taking the next logical and future-oriented step: the founding of a GmbH (limited liability company).

Our specialization in WordPress remains, and my partners and I look forward to realizing exciting and challenging web projects every day.

For you as a customer, supplier, or partner, nothing will change in your day-to-day business. The only thing that changes is the legal entity behind it. Existing contracts will be renegotiated under the contracting party Amplus Web GmbH.

The great thing about being a web designer, for me, is that with every project you can immerse yourself in a new world.
